Anaikolra

'Anaikolra' is a tamil word which means 'Elephant killer' - 'Anai kolra'. The word denotes something which is capable of killing an elephant. Changing the letter 'l' to 'n' - 'anai konda'. Yeah..one of the possible origins of the word Anaconda.

I always beleived that some of the words in English could have been derived from Tamil and recently came across this site, which lists a few of those.An interesting read.
