It has been a while since I posted something here.
There isn't anything specific that stopped me, but on the whole didn't feel like posting.
Or probably there isn't 'Real magic' these days(more Fabio capello-like these days). But yesterday's was a different game altogether.Real played decent attacking football against Celta Vigo and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it inspite of Real Madrid losing 3 points at Bernabeu.Capello has promised to show case more of the exciting-much hyped Rudd-Ronaldo upfront. Hope they can bring back the 'Real Magic'.
Meanwhile, doing justice to the title of the post. Here is one of the pictures taken during the recent trips to Madurai - Meenakshi Amman Temple gopuram.I wasn't a great admirer of the various post processing photo tools available in the market. Only a few days back realised that Post processing tools can be handy at times(most of the times), when the camera you have cannot show what you see(Honestly, its the inability of the user here to use the camera to capture what is seen). This pic is a
HDR version of the original. Proved to be a nice and a pretty useful technique though and more importantly something closer to what I 'saw'(atleast in the smaller version).
The ISO wasn't that high but still a bigger version has some disturbance.(One obvious reason is the lack of a Tripod..this was taken pretty late in the evening)
Retained the lights in the bottom of the pic, otherwise the pic looks too bland. Is the watermark too disturbing. Anyways the trial version of that tool helped me generate this HDR pic.Maybe a Cloning tool or some key search could remove it :-).
More Flickr
HDRs. (Some of them are pretty good applications of HDR and some are too good applications to be called a photo or pic).
