POC - Dead man's Chest

"Curiosity. You long for freedom. You long to do what you want to do because you want it. To act on selfish impulse. You want to see what it's like. One day you wont be able to resist."

Courtesy : Jack Sparrow *oops* Capt.Jack Sparrow in POC- Dead man's chest.

A story about a heart inside a chest.
Yeah..as simple as that. And with the previews and reviews not so impressive I was not looking forward to it.But then the mere presence of Depp and the genre of the movie (and also not having the responsibility of booking the tickets) were the prime reasons that dragged me to the theatre.

In the end, it turned out to be the movie that I totally enjoyed recently (he..he..ofcourse there is pulikesi at the top).Right from the eccentric Johnny depp, the beautiful keira knightley, the neat BGM, the wierd faces that the CG had put up, the exotic locales and a cool climax that makes you long for the next sequel, everything gels together pretty neatly.I'm planning to watch it once again, for I haven't grabbed all those silly antics of Sparrow fully yet.And I dont have any intentions of spoiling the Curiosity by putting some of those here.So get a ticket and watch it.You wouldn't regret.Maybe watch the part 1 too, you would be able to appreciate some more gestures in the movie.

One request - Mr.Producers of the movie - wherever you go, be it to the ends of earth or to the ends of galaxy, 'bring him back' - pretty soon. Also show him to India the same day he is shown elsewhere. Because its 'Curiosity' and 'One day I wont be able to resist it'. And eventually I would end up watching a Pirated pirate 3 in a small screen at home.

PS:And about the negatives, the movie is a bit dragging in the first half.Be informed that there are some bizarre creatures in the movie. Anyways if you enjoyed watching the urukhai's then no worries.

And that wasn't what I expected and definitely not what I wanted to see.
Its really strange, the one coolest man to score from the penalty spot in the World cup final match, with a blissful chip over the best keeper in the world. And sometime later he gets sent off for the most outrageous act in football.I haven't seen something like that before and would not see that clip again. Its a pity to see the most talismanic midfielder in the world end his carreer like that, losing his cool for a few seconds. For once, only once and just for a few seconds I was made to beleive he is only a good player and not a great player.

I would definitely remember for Zizou not for this act,but for those many moments of magic in the field that are really worth remembering.
Goodbye Zizou.(I take that back if you realise that you deserve a more graceful exit from football and revert you decision to retire.)
