Hat-trick Heroes

Wow..I was awestruck by the performance of Arsenal over the weekend. Was this the same team that was struggling a week back.It was a beautiful game of football which Arsenal is very well capable of playing it every weekend. But due to some major Injury problems and attitude of certain players they were not upto the mark with their performance. But they came out strongly this weekend and thrashed the depleted Middlesborough with the score reading 7-0.Theirry Henry is the hero for Arsenal scoring a Hat-trick.He is a kind of player who is very good with his dead ball kicks also.He is capable of scoring goals from outside the penalty box, with a clever swirl to the ball. But for me, some of the specatacular goals he scored are the ones that he hits low from the edge of box.A couple of them he scored in this match belongs to that category. As a player(striker) or a viewer the sight of ball rolling on the grass eluding the outstreched hands of a keeper and hitting the net at the back is a wonderful sight to watch. For that matter I like the way (Brazillian)Ronaldo scores these kind of low-shots with ease. He is capable of changing the direction of his shooting foot at the last moment, thereby deceiving the keeper. Most of the times the goal-keeper would just be seeing the ball eluding him under his outstreched hands or legs.Such is the composure of this guy inside the penalty box.
Now to the other great French footballer - Zidane. Thanks to his hat-trick against Sevilla over the weekend that Real Madrid are now in the fourth place in the league standings.Real madrid won the match 4-2.The match review and stats show that Real played very well and the Bernabeu crowd who were whistling them till now, appreciated their performance.(Retelecast tonight at 12.00 in ESS).
Looks to be a good start at home, for both Arsenal and Real who will face each other in a Champions league knock out match in a month's time. I couldn't wait for it.Add to that Barca vs Chelsea.Really mouth watering games at hand if these teams continue to exhibit this kind of form.
